Hiking & mountain-tours

Walk or drive to the village of Göflan and from there head towards „Morter“ through beautiful orchards of apple trees until reaching the beer-cellar of the village Latsch. Here you have the possibility to enjoy a meal and a glass of beer in a cosy atmosphere. By bus return to the village of Latsch and drive or walk back to Schlanders.

Not to be missed: Enjoy the beautiful orchards, the traditional restaurant and during April the pretty appletree-blossoms. The variety of the landscape with its Mediterranean and sunny climate is highly appreciated by connoisseurs.

By car drive towards the nationalpark of „Stilfs“. The beautiful mountain panorama can already be admired from the parking lot of the farm „Fraggeshof“ at 1676m altitude. From here start the circular route which first brings you to the mountain pasture “Praderalm” at 2050m, and then leads on to a path above the timberline and finally to the mountain pasture of “Stilfs”. Our tour guide Walter is happy to share some interesting facts about the local flora and fauna with you, including some entertaining stories. 

After a cosy rest in the pasture’s hut descend alongside a game reserve and back to the parking lot of “Fraggeshof”.
